DESCRIPTION:FREE.  Click here to register for webinar. \nMany of us see firsthand the impact of extreme weather events and climate change in our gardens. Master Gardener volunteers are also receiving questions from the public asking how to care for stressed plants and what to expect next. Communication research shows that it’s through these types of one-on-one conversations between neighbors and community members that real dialogue and understanding can occur about our shifting climate\, and the term “climate change” itself. To help Oregon’s gardeners\, the OSU Master Gardener Program has launched a new statewide climate resilience education and outreach project called Garden Future. Learn about the resources available\, including the Garden Future resource website\, a conversational email campaign\, and tips for engaging with the interested public.
