Jason will inform us about the current work of Growing Gardens- a local nonprofit building connected food systems across the state of Oregon, they achieve their goals at building the next generation of food system leaders through 3 programs: Home Gardens- where they support families for three years to become life-long food producers, in Youth Grow with 10 title 1 elementary schools, and in 14 correctional facilities providing hands-on garden education and vegetable production opportunities.
