The social committee had its first meeting and chose an inaugural event -
The Wild Arts Festival
Sunday December 8
Wingspan Events Center at the Washington County Fairgrounds. 
The festival typically has 60+ artists on hand featuring painting, sculpture, jewelry piece, photograph, woodwork, textile, ceramic pieces, and glass-blown art.  Here's the website -  https://www.wildartsfestival.org/
Tickets are $13; buy them online to skip the line and feel free to bring your partner, child, friend. It's open from 10 - 5. Parking is free; it's also accessible on TriMet. We thought we'd gather at 11, though there is no plan for us to tour in a herd.
No need to RSVP or to show up promptly at 11.  We brainstormed other ideas - garden tours, a game night, winery visit, walks, hikes, line dancing and more and would love to hear other suggestions. P.S. We're thinking of calling these events Gardeners Gathering.
